Broadband phone speeds

I’m feeling smug out here at CES with my Internet connectivity.
The woefully inadequate press room at CES offers only spotty wireless access and there are not nearly enough hardwired terminals for the media horde.
You should here the media types grousing.
But I’m equipped with a Verizon EV-DO broadband data card, the PC5220. Las Vegas is one of 30 cities that has high speed broadband wireless phone service. (Alas, Detroit does not and Verizon refuses to say when it will).
But man, does it work.
