ICE campaign getting traction thanks to Net

An idea from a paramedic responding to last month’s terror attacks in London is spreding fast thanks to the Net and chain e-mail. It’s called ICE - for In Case of Emergency - and the idea is to enter in your cellphone under an ICE heading the names and numbers of family or friends who should be contacted in the event you’re seriously ill or injured.

It’s a nice idea but won’t work if your phone is off and you have some lock set (asking for a PIN, for example).
