IPTV coming to a screen near you

This does indeed seem to be the year of the TV. See my story from today’s Freep for background.
But Microsoft’s Bill Gates spent much of his keynote last night showing new enhancements made possible by things such as IPTV - which uses fiber-based Internet streams to deliver DVD-like quality to home sets.
