Microsoft takes on Google

Calling it the company’s biggest announcement in a decade, Microsoft has revealed its plan to out-Google Google in delivering new services and program enhancements online. Windows announces Net strategy.
There’s not a whole lot to see or be impresed with in the demo site for the new Windows Live and Office Live sites but most analysts say the move signals a significent escalation in the competition between Microsoft and Google.
