VoIP growing but still has issues

If there’s any one tech trend that’s marked this year so far, it has to be the use of the Internet to make and receive telephone calls.
Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP , is growing so fast that it’s a safe bet to predict it’s how a great many of us will soon be making most of our telephone calls from home — and maybe work, too.
Yesterday America Online plugged into the VoIP Bandwagon. Cable companies have, too, as even some telco corporations.
