Unwired and on vacation
June 5, 2005 by Mike Wendland
I’m on vacation this week on Jekyll Island, Ga., staying in a rental unit with no broadband, only dial-up. How I’ve taken high speed access for granted. But then again, it will do me good not to be so plugged in. I’ll sniff around and see if I can find a wi-fi hotspot but I suspect posting will be light. This really is getting away from it all. And that’s what a vacation is all about. Check out my bike blog for what I’m doing down here.

Hey Mike I was listening to your death clock clip. My daughter discovered that site about 5 months ago. We were messing around with it and kept entering the same information and it gave a different death date everytime. It’s not very helpful really. I’m alittle over weight and I smoke. I know I’m hurting myself from both things but that death clock told me that I’ll make it to age 77, 92, 89, 82, and some other ages. Every time I hit submit/enter or whatever with the same bmi age hieght etc it gave me a different death time. Just wanted to let ya know.
