Apple polishing

Paid a visit to Apple Computer headquarters in Cupertino, CA while on a west coast reporting trip this week. applehq.jpgAte in the company cafeteria with some Apple contacts, talked shop, new products and the very high morale these days on Infinite Loop, the private drive that houses the main Apple campus here in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Also visited the Company Store and picked up an Apple T-shirt that reads: “I visited the mothership.”

Did you remember to remove your shoes before walking on hallowed ground?

Is the cafetaria still vegetarian only or have some animals found their way there.

I have this mental picture of Mike’s face glowing like Charlton Heston’s after coming down from the mountain in “The Ten Commandments”.

I posted a couple of other Apple HQ pix taken with my Treo 650 mobile phone to the right on my MOBlog…
And to Bill’s question about the Apple cafeteria, I saw lot of people eating real burgers. I had a salad but there was do-it-yourself pizza, a grill and, of course, a sushi table, besides vegetarian offerings.
