There’s a hot new phone on the market for the young and hip and always connected. It’s the Sidekick LX and this past week, there were lines at many T-Mobile stores around the country as the device officially went on sale.

Flashlight that charges your cell phone

I love gadgets that multitask.

That’s why a gizmo called the ECO LED Flashlight got my attention. It’s a flashlight that you can charge by pulling a string. You can also charge it from your vehicle’s cigarette lighter. That means you don’t need to by batteries… or worry about losing a charge.

But the coolest thing is that you can also use the flashlight to charge your mobile phone.

And that means, you always have talk power.

Is iPhone killer among new Verizon phones?

Verizon Wireless introduced some new phones this week, including one called the Voyager that some industry analysts think may give the Apple iPhone a run for the money.

I showed it on my NBC-TV report this week.
