Malware Protection

Malware is rampant. The phrase comes from the words malicious and software and is nasty software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner’s informed consent.

In fact, whether you know it or not your computer is always at risk of becoming infected with viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, dialers, spyware, and malware that are constantly evolving and becoming harder to detect and remove. Only the most sophisticated anti-malware techniques can detect and remove these malicious programs from your computer.

Of all the junkware and malware protection products out there, the one that I now recommend as the best is called Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware.

Cost is extremely reasonable. Just $24.95./ One-time. There are none of those annual renewal fees that some junkware companies try to charge you. Get it here.

This seems like a very useful tool, because, most antivirus software omit the Anti-Rootkit feature. Anti-Rootkits detect, remove or repair hidden malware. So basically most antivirus only remove the viruses that the trojans install, and not the trojan itself, and the malware stays hidden on the PC. After trying just about every major anti-virus on the market, I found another software, AVG. Unlike most antivirus software, AVG also includes Anti-Rootkit features, and it is pretty comparable in price of Malwarebyte, but it also includes standard features of antivirus software. AVG also has a full-featured 30-day trial.

Only the best solutions for anti-malware/anti-virus software products include the essential Anti-Rootkit features in it’s standard package. If your anti-virus software is lacking the Anti-Rootkit features, please upgrade to one that does, otherwise, you’re better off saving your PC resources, and uninstalling the defunct software.
