Sprint to cut up to 2,500 jobs
Sprint this afternoon warned that it will cut between 2,000 and 2,500 more jobs to improve its bottom line. The cellular provider says the cuts will apply both to internal and contractor jobs and that most of the layoffs should take effect before the end of the year. All the cuts should have a net effect of saving Sprint about $350 million per year in expenses…
