I keep this until I get the rebate then if I need it for tax purposes file it. Also tape the bar code and everything else to a sheet of paper, never drop it in the envelope,cause it falls out when they open it. I've done lots of rebates and ONCE I had to send them a copy of my copy and they came thru with the money. The company asked for me to send it back and then and only then would I get the correct check mailed back to me. Guess what, the check never came.
