Twitter tools that will get you followers and organize your tweets
The new year 2010, they say, will be THE year for social networking, led by the hugely popular Twitter service that send out those short, 140-character updates.
How to manage those Tweets and get more followers is a major online activity these days. I’ve found three tools that will help you manage those social networking tasks.
Twitter seems to be where all the online buzz is these days. Check out a Twitter popularity measuring site like Twitterholic and you’ll see that it’s all about how many followers you have…many politicians, athletes and celebrities have millions and millions of them… but everyone seems geeked on getting more followers.
There are lots of tips and tricks and scams out there on how to get more followers but if you’re serious, the best tool I’ve found is a program called TweetAdder.
It’s used by a lot of businesses and online marketers and costs $55 but it automates the process of finding Twitter followers, allowing you to follow people who are near you, who tweet things that interest you and, hopefully, then get followed by people who will be interested in what you’re Tweeting about.
HootSuite is a Twitter tool that works with your web browser and your mobile phone… even Facebook. It’s free and lets you see on one window, your Twitter stream, mentions of you and direct messages. You can schedule Tweets to post ahead of time and it will manage as many different Twitter accounts as you have.
