App Discovery Apps

So many apps…so little time. We love apps. Apps for our smartphones. Apps for our computers and tablets. They do wonderful things and make life easy but how do you keep up with the when thousands are released each day. We have found some… well, uh, apps, to help you discover the latest and greatest new apps.

appsTappd is a new app that works like a social networking site. It’s goal is to keep you tapped into the hottest new apps, apps that are trending, apps that your friends have, apps that experts recommend. You can “tap and tell” or share your favorite apps or search by hashtag or keyword. It’s free for the iPhone now, with other platforms soon to be added.

Quixey bills itself as a search engine for apps. The free Quixey app itself works only on the Android platform. But the main Quixey website is a very valuable source for finding whatever sort of app you need on whatever smartphone you have.

Appflow is for iPhone apps. It uses crowd sourcing to help you find the new apps highest rated by other users.
