Windows version of iSync

I’m setting up a new Dell XPS 400 system I just bought to use for testing out Windows and PC apps. But one feature I have on my Macs that is sorely missed is an iSync-like function that would let me keep Outlook info - calendar, tasks, contacts - synced with my Taplet PC and my desktop Dell via the Internet like iSync does through Mac.com. There must be some equivalent service for PCs… isn’t there?

Mike, I use FolderShare.com to do this. You can sync folders across multiple PC and Macs. It works for syncing Outlook data, you just have to make sure you only have Outlook open on one computer at a time. There’s a free version to try.

I personally use Foldershare.com to sync my outlook data between my laptop and desktop. The previous warning was right, do not have both open at the same time. You can’t even have any programs that access the .pst file open at the same time. But, it’s the best option. All you have to do is move the .pst file to the foldershare folder. If you’d like a step-by-step email me @ downwithspam@cox.net.
