Slydial hacks into other’s voicemail!

July 25, 2008 by admin

A sneaky new free service called slydial connects you directly to someone’s mobile phone voicemail so you can leave a message without having to really call the person and take the chance that they will answer.
Why do this? To fake a meeting excuse, ditch a date, avoid awkward conversations and “create the illusion of communication,” says the company.

To slydial someone, simply dial 267-SLYDIAL (267-759-3425) and follow the voice prompts. The service connects to all major U.S. wireless carriers and calls can be placed from any mobile or landline phone. Slydial allows users to connect directly to someone’s voicemail (after listening to a short advertisement) without the risk of them picking up. Also – unlike other messaging services the missed call will appear to come from your phone, not some unknown random number.

You can’t listen to other’s voicemail but you can pretend that you got there when the owner of the VM account didn’t answer their phone. Sneaky sneaky.
