Citywide wi-fi is not an easy feat
July 11, 2005 by Mike Wendland
There were couple days last week when I didn’t post anything new here. That’s because I was in Grand Haven, MI, the first place in the country to launch citywide wi-fi last year. I wanted to see how well it worked on its first anniversary, especially since whole counties and many other cities around the country now have similar plans. But the reason I didn’t update this blog very often was because… in my citywide hotspot test, the Wi-Fi access reality falls far short of the hype.
