<description>I live in Grand Blanc. On the weekend of August 13 and 14, I had a connection that was worse than a phone modem, sometimes no ability to connect. I spoke with 3 other people that live in different areas of Grand Blanc - they were all experiencing slow, bad or no connections. I spent several hours on the 14th trying to figure it out. Tech support insisted there was no problem and wanted to schedule a service call. He alsmost had me convinced I had a modem problem. I did some tests described on dslReports.com and there clearly was a problem. I saw more that 50% timeouts and several no connects. Magically, Sunday mid-afternoon my connection was back to near normal. I still see very slow web page loading sometimes, but generally it has been running OK. There clearly is/was something major going on in the Comcast system.
