Google offers new mapping service

Just don’t try it with Apple’s Safari browser. The Googloid empire hasn’t yet figured out how to make it work with the Apple browser, though they claim they’re working on it. It does, however, work with Firefox for Macs and, naturally, all the Windows browsers. Google Maps

    Actually, there are some instances of Firefox on Windows where Google Maps does not work - http://www.steelerdirtfreak.com/blog/archives/2005/02/11/google-map-wish-i-could-see-what-all-the-hoopla-is-about/

    Sadly, no one has yet been able to figure out why. I’ve even tried - twice now - removing every extension in the hopes of that fixing the problem, but to no avail.
