iPod nano screen issues

September 26, 2005 by Mike Wendland

Some people are reporting easily crached nano screens. iPod Nano = Flawed Product
Others are complaining of scratches.
I have a black nano and it looks a little scuffed up but when I wipe it with a soft cloth - or my T-shirt - it cleans right up.

The biggest complaint happens to be when the screen area gets scratched, as it RUINS the color display.

I have one small scratch over the screen area and it’s really irritating whenever I look at photos. I have no idea HOW it got scratched since I baby the thing and keep it in one of those iPod socks when not in use.

I would invest in those companies that make the iPod polishing creams right about now.

My bet is that Apple says and does nothing for now, but will very quietly change the manufacturing process prior to the holiday season, using a more scratch resistant material.

Mine is getting scuffed all over on the front side. I carry it with me all of the time, but I am not rough on it at all.

I refuse to take mine out of the plastic until those covers and cases and Tubes show up.

Wish I would have thought of that, but I tore into it as soon as the box was opened.
