Playing with Podcasting
February 28, 2005 by Mike Wendland
I’ve been wanting to try Podcasting for a while.
Here’s my first attempt.
Here’s the RSS feed.
Should I do more? About what? Suggestions anyone?

Mike,
I’ve done a lot of reporting about podcasting at my site. Two observations: 1. Most people do not know about podcasting. 2. I think, for now, you’d be better off just letting people listen to your reports by clicking on the report icon. For example, as I’m typing this, I’m listening your “podcast” on my PC using iTunes. No RSS feed and no terminology mix-up.
Hope that helps.
Kindest regards,
Ken Leebow
Sounded great Mike ,
I like Podcast’s short and sweet
What did you use to record ?
Any chance of a podcast on “How To PodCast”
Look forward to more

Do more! Dish the dirt. Make it longer like a daily tech report in which you discuss the day’s tech happenings and put your spin on it. I’d say try for a half hour show.
Nice job Mike. Very good quality recording. I’ve been hip on Podcasts since around September (ancient history in Pod-terms). I listen to Adam Curry, Keener13 (cool retro Detroit radio cast), and Morning Stories (and a closet Dawn and Drew listener). I end up listening to them more on my Powerbook while working than on my iPod.
I think the real challenge to podcasting is providing content that isn’t just rehashed news, but has a personal touch. If you can share your honest experiences with technology rather than a canned news segment, people will eat it up.
Good luck!
