My Favorite Spring Cleaning and Reminder Apps

With the official start of spring also comes the official start of the spring cleaning season.

Here are three apps that can help keep you on track – even find someone to do it for you.

Cleaning Checklist is a simple and straightforward app for spring cleaning. Add whatever tasks you want to complete and mark off items as they are completed. The best thing about Cleaning Checklist is how easy it is to add new items. The app is 99 cents and available for iOS.

Home Routines is great for spring cleaning and beyond. The app divides your house into zones, making it easy to focus on specific areas at the same time and day every week. To keep you on track, you can set it up to get reminder notifications. Mark off tasks completed on checklists, which reset automatically. The app is $4.99 for iOS.

And if you need to get the job done, but don’t have the time or want to do it, consider the app called TaskRabbit. The app gives you access to handymen, and women, who are available for hire to do everything from housecleaning to making delivers. The people who do the jobs are screened and vetted by the developers of TaskRabbit. The app is free for iOS and Android.
