Apps to Find Airline Deals

Lots of people are making travel plans this time of year, and if you plan to fly anywhere, chances are you’re looking for the best deal.

This week our PC Mike Wendland have three of the best apps to find cheap flights in 2016.

Hipmunk is one of the newest and hottest travel apps out there. The app compares the top travel sites to find the best flight deals – allowing travelers to save up to 60 percent. The app is easy to use and can even show you which flights have the least hassle. Hipmunk also helps find deals on other travel necessities like hotels. The app is free for iOS and Android.

Skyscanner is great for finding deals on domestic and international flights because it compares the prices of flights across all possible airlines – and it gets the job done in seconds. You can get alerts for low prices, too. And Skyscanner also allows travelers to book tickets directly through the app with links provided to airlines or travel agents. The Skyscanner flight app is free for iOS, Android, and Windows.

Hopper will help you know when to buy to get the best flight rates. The app analyzes billions of flight prices daily to predict how prices will change, and tells you the best time to buy your tickets. You can set up Hopper so that you get notified the moment prices drop and before they’re about to rise. You can even book flights with the tap of a button. The app is free for iOS and Android.
