I’m sure having a lot fun with an app called Roadtrippers. Search along a route or plan a road trip with their online trip planner for free, then sync it with your smartphone for turn-by-turn navigation. Roadtrippers is a powerful route planner, perfect as a RV trip planner or family trip planner, listing all the cool, offbeat and major tourist events for you to visit on your roadtrip.

summerappsSeems we’re always talking about weather apps. That’s because new and better ones keep coming out. The new NOAA Now app for Android and Apple is

High res and one of the best I’ve seen for storm alerts and fast, easy to figure weather info needed to plan your summer fun.

Finally, If your summer travel plans are abroad, you need Word Lens. Point your camera’s video camera at any text and it translates it into the language of your choice. Google just bought this company for its Google Glass so it’s going to be big. Right now, all language packs are free for Android and Apple devices.
